Basketball Recap: Edison Finds Home Court Redemption Against Jackson

There's no place like home for Edison, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 38-36 win over the Jackson Generals on Wednesday. That's more bragging rights for the Red Raiders, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Several Generals players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ja'Dai Shinault, who posted nine points. D'Joulissa St Fluer was another key player, putting up seven points and ten rebounds.

Edison's record now sits at 2-4. As for Jackson, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.

When Edison and Jackson next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Edison will try to stop Killian's five-game winning streak when the meet at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Similarly, Jackson will challenge Varela and their seven-game winning streak at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
