De Soto came tearing into Tuesday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21 points) and they left with even more momentum. They snuck past the Basehor-Linwood Bobcats with a 61-57 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wildcats also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

De Soto's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-5. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points per game. As for Basehor-Linwood, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-4.
