Soccer Recap: Forest Hill Takes a Loss

Forest Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Palm Beach Central Broncos. The contest was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Falcons couldn't quite close it out.

Their goal came courtesy of Alex Monia, who's now up to three this season.

Forest Hill's loss dropped their record down to 3-8-2. As for Palm Beach Central, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-8-3.

Forest Hill and Palm Beach Central could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings. Forest Hill (ranked 366th) will meet Spanish River (ranked 165th) at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Palm Beach Central will challenge Wellington at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025 down 209 places (318 vs. 109).
