Volleyball Recap: Collins Hill Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Collins Hill lost against Peachtree Ridge back in September of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Eagles fell 3-1 to the Lions. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Peachtree Ridge scored at least 20 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-21, 19-25, 25-23.

Destinee Evans paced Collins Hill's offense, picking up ten kills. Evans got some help from Anna LaPerriere and her 18 assists. Evans was also solid from the service line: she led the team with ten aces.

Collins Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 8-18. As for Peachtree Ridge, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-13.

Collins Hill wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Atlanta Classical Academy on the 23rd. Peachtree Ridge has also already played their next game (against Duluth), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
