Volleyball Game Preview: Chaparral Pumas vs. Corona Panthers

The Chaparral Pumas will challenge the Corona Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Tuesday, Chaparral came up short against Beaumont and fell 3-1. The Pumas have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 24-26, 25-18, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Corona came up short against Great Oak on Monday, falling 3-0.

Corona may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 16 points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-16, 25-16.

Corona's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Chaparral, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

Chaparral took their victory against Corona when the teams last played back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0. Does Chaparral have another victory up their sleeve, or will Corona turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
