Basketball Game Preview: Enosburg Falls Hornets vs. Milton Yellowjackets

It'll be a Battle of the Bugs the Hornets take on the Yellowjackets at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. Enosburg Falls is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.

Enosburg Falls is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Vermont's top teams: Mt. Abraham, who was ranked 12th at the time (Enosburg Falls was ranked 25th). Enosburg Falls fell 36-24 to Mt. Abraham on Wednesday.

Milton might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 43-35 to Middlebury, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Yellowjackets haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Enosburg Falls' loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Milton, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-6.

Enosburg Falls couldn't quite finish off Milton in their previous matchup back in January and fell 36-33. Can Enosburg Falls avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
