Pen Argyl's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Catasauqua Rough Riders as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Green Knights haven't had any issues with the Rough Riders recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-8, 25-16.

Ashlyn Oessenick paced Pen Argyl's offense, picking up 17 kills. Oessenick got some help from Jasmine Holland and her 19 assists. Claudia Powell controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Pen Argyl now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Catasauqua, their loss was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-13.

Pen Argyl and Catasauqua could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings. The Green Knights (ranked 290th) will meet Southern Lehigh (ranked 49th) at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Catasauqua will face off against Notre Dame-Green Pond at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank disadvantage (408 vs. 159).
