Soccer Game Preview: Providence Catholic vs. Evergreen Park

Providence Catholic is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They put the hurt on Marian Catholic with a sharp 8-1 win. Providence Catholic might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matches by three goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Marian Catholic from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Maggie Wolniakowski led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, neither Evergreen Park nor Oak Forest could gain the upper hand last Wednesday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Providence Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 20-0-2. Evergreen Park's draw gives them a new season record of 8-8-2.
