Basketball Recap: Austin Comes Up Short

Austin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 49-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Presidio Blue Devils.

Austin's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Presidio, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season.

Austin will take on Alpine in a holiday battle at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Presidio, they are on the road again on Friday to play Odessa at 3:00 p.m.
