Basketball Game Preview: Round Rock Christian Academy Crusaders vs. Central Texas Christian Lions

Round Rock Christian Academy and Central Texas Christian are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2016, but not for long. The Round Rock Christian Academy Crusaders will finish 2024 at home by hosting the Central Texas Christian Lions at 2:15 p.m. on Monday.

Round Rock Christian Academy is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering New Braunfels Thunder just ended the team's three-game winning streak two weeks ago. They lost 63-37 to the Homeschool.

While Central Texas Christian didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-18), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They blew past Memorial Christian Academy, posting a 61-21 victory. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 25 points or more this season.

Central Texas Christian's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Round Rock Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-10.
