Soccer Game Preview: Creek Wood vs. East Robertson

The Creek Wood Red Hawks will venture away from home to square off against the East Robertson Indians at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. East Robertson took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Creek Wood, who comes in off a win.

While Creek Wood's win against Montgomery Central wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Red Hawks sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 victory over the Indians on Thursday. Creek Wood haven't had any issues with Montgomery Central recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, East Robertson fell victim to Kenwood and their airtight defense on Thursday. They fell just short of the Knights by a score of 1-0. East Robertson haven't had much luck with Kenwood recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Creek Wood's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-1-1 and their overall record up to 6-2-1. As for East Robertson, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8-1.

Creek Wood was able to grind out a solid win over East Robertson when the teams last played back in May of 2022, winning 4-2. Will the Red Hawks repeat their success, or do the Indians have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
