Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Malcolm). Everything went their way against the Norfolk Panthers on Saturday as they made off with an 18-3 win. The victory was nothing new for the Clippers as they're now sitting on six straight.
Malcolm got a massive performance out of Cole Tiedeman, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. Those three runs gave Tiedeman a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Mason Wisnieski, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.
Malcolm always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .595. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Norfolk only posted an OBP of .407.
