Soccer Recap: Mountain View Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Mountain View was feeling good fresh off their 7-0 takedown of Saratoga on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Spartans fell just short of the Homestead Mustangs by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Mountain View came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 19th, while Homestead are ranked 63rd).

Mountain View's defeat dropped their record down to 12-3-2. As for Homestead, their record is now 10-2-4.
