Volleyball Recap: Mahopac Indians vs. Poughkeepsie Pioneers        
        
		
             Mahopac won the last time they faced Poughkeepsie, and things went their way  on Tuesday too. The Mahopac Indians put the hurt on the Poughkeepsie Pioneers with a sharp  3-0 victory. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Indians.
 Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Mahopac took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-13,  25-13.
  Bella DeChico was  her usual excellent self,  getting ten  aces, five  digs,  and three  kills. She is  on a roll when it comes to  aces, as she's  now  served two or more in the last four games she's  played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Andriana DiVincenzo, who  had four  aces and three  kills.
 She wasn't the only good server: Mahopac  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 27  aces. That's the most  aces they've posted since back in October of 2023.
 Mahopac is  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record  this season. As for Poughkeepsie,  they are  on  a  21-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mahopac will venture away from home to  square off against Rye  at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Poughkeepsie, they will head out to  take on Ketcham  at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
