Volleyball Recap: Morrow Snaps Five-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Morrow won the last time they faced Cedar Grove and things went their way on Thursday too. The Mustangs came out on top against the Saints by a score of 2-0.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Morrow was: they took both sets by at least 14 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-4, 25-11.

Morrow found their leader in freshman Emily Hernandez, who had ten aces. Those ten aces set a new season-high mark for Hernandez.

Morrow was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 21 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in August.

Morrow's win ended a five-match drought on the road and puts them at 16-12. As for Cedar Grove, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-22.

Coming up, Morrow will head out to take on Lovejoy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cedar Grove, they will welcome Heritage at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
