Volleyball Recap: Atchison Takes a Loss

Atchison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Perry-Lecompton Kaws. If the Phoenix were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Kaws when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-12.

Atchison's loss dropped their record down to 10-18-2. As for Perry-Lecompton, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 20-13.

Atchison didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Louisburg on the 11th. As for Perry-Lecompton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Pleasant Ridge on the 11th.
