Basketball Recap: New Albany Takes a Loss

New Albany was the 64-40 winner over Hayes when they last played one another back in January of 2016, but their luck changed this time around. The New Albany Eagles fell just short of the Hayes Pacers by a score of 49-46 on Tuesday. The Eagles were up 40-26 in the third quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

New Albany has also been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season. As for Hayes, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New Albany will take on Lincoln in a tournament on Friday. As for Hayes, they will take on Westland at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
