Basketball Recap: Lac Courte Oreilles Takes a Loss

Lac Courte Oreilles was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Mercer Tigers 49-20. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 45-26 back in January.

Lac Courte Oreilles' loss dropped their record down to 2-20. As for Mercer, their win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-15.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lac Courte Oreilles will take on Siren at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Siren will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Lac Courte Oreilles surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mercer, they will face off against Drummond at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Mercer is facing Drummond at the right time seeing as Drummond is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
