Basketball Game Preview: Teague Lions vs. Terrell Tigers

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Teague Lions face off against the Terrell Tigers at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday... Teague is looking for their season's first victory.

Teague is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They lost 69-48 to Varsity Opponent on Tuesday.

Teague might have lost, but man, Clifford Coleman was a machine: he went 7 of 15 on his way to 15 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Zak Leija, who posted four points and six rebounds.

Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Terrell over Henderson in every quarter on their way to victory on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Terrell blew Henderson out of the water with a 73-45 final score. The Tigers pushed the score to 59-39 by the end of the third, a deficit the Lions had little chance of recovering from.

Terrell's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-6. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 24.5 points. As for Teague, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.
