While Bushland's victory against Tulia wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Falcons narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Hornets 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Falcons have posted since March 1st.

Bushland's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Max Rodriguez, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.

Bushland was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Tulia only posted a batting average of .095.

Bushland is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-10 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.9 runs on average over those games. As for Tulia, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-7-1.

Coincidentally, Bushland and Tulia will both be playing River Road the next time they take the field. The Falcons will head out to face the Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Hornets will host them at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
