Volleyball Recap: West Ranch Takes Down Ranked Lake Stevens

West Ranch is ranked highly in their home state and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Lake Stevens. The Wildcats narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Vikings 2-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 on Friday.

West Ranch is on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season. As for Lake Stevens, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four matches and leaves them with a 18-3 record.

West Ranch has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Torrey Pines on the 11th. As for Lake Stevens, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against La Canada on the 11th.
