Basketball Recap: Bethany Community Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Bethany Community was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 70-60 to the Graham Red Devils. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Red Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 70-62 last Friday.

When it comes to explaining why Bethany Community lost, don't look at Quentin Leach. Despite the final result, he posted 27 points. Another player making a difference was Elijah Harvey, who put up 12 points.

Leading Graham to victory were Ladario Johnson and Micah Woods. Johnson dropped a double-double with 22 points and 11 boards, while Woods earned 22 points in addition to eight rebounds and four steals. The contest was Woods' third in a row with at least 22 points. Kordell Hinton was another key player, putting up six points and three steals.

Bethany Community's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Graham, their win ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1.

Bethany Community wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, an 88-39 defeat against Ben L. Smith on the 26th. As for Graham, they will face off against Chatham Central at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
