Softball Game Preview: Pinkston Vikings vs. Spring Hill Panthers

The Pinkston Vikings will take on the Spring Hill Panthers in a tournament on Thursday. Pinkston is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

Pinkston lost 18-5 to Conrad on Tuesday.

While Spring Hill didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-29), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past New Diana 8-7.

Peyton Dees was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing five bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Khloe Saxon, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Spring Hill's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Pinkston, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.
