Volleyball Recap: Edison Picks Up Fourth Straight Win at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bullard, Edison was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Sunnyside Wildcats 3-2. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 2-0 win two weeks ago.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Edison who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 20-25, 25-21, 19-25, 15-8.

Their offense was headlined by Anthony Gossett and Ethan Thao, who picked up ten kills apiece. They got some help from Richie Vue and his eight assists.

Edison's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-4. As for Sunnyside, their loss dropped their record down to 15-13.

Looking ahead, Edison will head out on the road to challenge McLane at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sunnyside, they will host Justin Garza at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
