Soccer Game Preview: Greenfield vs. Alisal

The Greenfield Bruins will take on the Alisal Trojans at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

On Tuesday, Greenfield didn't have quite enough to beat North Salinas and fell 2-1. Greenfield have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Alisal's offense. They fell just short of Everett Alvarez by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Alisal can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 403rd, while Everett Alvarez are ranked second).

Greenfield now has a losing record of 4-5-4. As for Alisal, they now have a losing record of 6-7-1.
