Volleyball Recap: Montebello Comes Up Short

Montebello was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Charter Oak Chargers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Oilers of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2017.

Montebello's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Charter Oak, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-7 record.

Looking ahead, Montebello will take on Bell Gardens at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Charter Oak, they have already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Mary Star of the Sea on the 6th.
