Volleyball Recap: Fort Bend Dulles Comes Up Short

Fort Bend Dulles was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Needville Bluejays. The Vikings were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bluejays from their previous meeting back in September of 2020.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-14, 25-7.

Gabrielle St. Louis paced Fort Bend Dulles' offense, picking up six kills. St. Louis got some help from Ambika Nair and her nine assists.

Fort Bend Dulles' loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Needville, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-3 record this season.

Fort Bend Dulles has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Alvin on the 30th. As for Needville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Cypress Woods on the 30th.
