New London had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They won by a goal and slipped past the Killingly Trailbazers 1-0. New London's winning goal came courtesy of Samuel Frommer.

This is the second loss in a row for Killingly and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New London will head out to challenge Griswold at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Killingly, they will take on St. Bernard at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
