Softball Recap: Cannon Falls Makes It Six in a Row at Home

Cannon Falls barely beat Plainview-Elgin-Millville the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bombers' pitchers stepped up to hand the Bulldogs a 10-0 shutout on Monday. Winning may never get old, but the Bombers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Plainview-Elgin-Millville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 12 of their last 14 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-18 record this season.
