Football Recap: North Delta's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

North Delta's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They walked away with a 28-20 win over the Regents Lions. The victory was some much needed relief for the Green Wave as it spelled an end to their seven-game losing streak.

When it comes to explaining why Regents lost, don't look at Zane Hill. Despite the final result, he threw for 282 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 36 yards and one TD.

North Delta's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-8. As for Regents, they dropped their record down to 3-7 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

As of now, neither North Delta nor the Lions have any future games scheduled.
