Basketball Game Preview: St. Petersburg Catholic Barons vs. Saint Stephen's Episcopal Falcons

After both having extra time off, the St. Petersburg Catholic Barons and the Saint Stephen's Episcopal Falcons will shake off the cobwebs and take on one another at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, St. Petersburg Catholic ended up a good deal behind Canterbury and lost 58-40. The match marked the Barons' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Saint Stephen's Episcopal was not able to break out of their rough patch last Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 42-29 to Sarasota Christian.

Saint Stephen's Episcopal's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for St. Petersburg Catholic, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.

St. Petersburg Catholic didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Saint Stephen's Episcopal in their previous matchup back in November, but they still walked away with a 60-56 win.
