Baseball Recap: Benjamin Franklin Picks Up Sixth Consecutive Victory

While Benjamin Franklin's victory against Page wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Chargers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-6 win over the Sand Devils on Saturday. Eight seems to be a good number for the Chargers as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Benjamin Franklin let Matthew Economou and Owen Fierstein run wild. Economou went 1-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base, while Fierstein scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2. What's more, Economou posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in February of 2024. Talan Speir was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.
