Stanton County waltzed into their matchup on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They never let the Syracuse Bulldogs onto the board and left with a 15-0 victory.
Sidney Parks was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (she also only allowed one walk). Parks was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.
In other batting news, Lexy Martinez was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-2. Tanisha Arceo was another key contributor, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.
Stanton County pushed their record up to 3-0 with that win, which was their third straight at home.
They will have a chance to go back-to-back against Syracuse: the pair will be back at it again later today.
