Morgan County came into Wednesday's match having lost 14 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They put the hurt on the Buckhorn Wildcats with a sharp 14-1 win on Wednesday. That looming 14-1 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Cougars yet this season.

Morgan County's victory bumped their record up to 5-23. As for Buckhorn, they moved to 7-14 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Morgan County will venture away from home to take on Paintsville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
