Reading Memorial won against Beverly two weeks ago with 42 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. The Rockets took their contest with ease, bagging a 42-14 win over the Stoneham Spartans. Considering the Rockets have won five matchups by more than 19 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Reading Memorial's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jayden Gomes, who picked up 62 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also rushed for 58 yards and one score. Those 62 receiving yards gave Gomes a new career-high. Will Chute was another key passer, throwing for 267 yards and four TDs while completing 83.3% of his passes.

The victory made it two in a row for Reading Memorial and bumps their season record up to 6-5. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 42.0 points over those games. As for Stoneham, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-4.
