The Lincoln-Way Central Knights will take on the Minooka Indians at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Lincoln-Way Central will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Lincoln-Way Central is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Illinois' top teams: Andrew, who was ranked 15th at the time (Lincoln-Way Central was ranked 17th). The Knights never let the Thunderbolts get on the board and left with a 2-0 win on Friday.

Meanwhile, after only two runs in their last match, Minooka made sure to put some runs up on the board against Lincoln-Way East on Friday. The Indians walked away with an 11-7 victory over the Griffins. The game was the first time the Indians have beaten the Griffins on their field since March 28, 2016.

Minooka is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Lincoln-Way Central, their victory bumped their record up to 14-7.
