Baseball Recap: Buhach Colony Drops Season-High Score on Gregori

Buhach Colony scored the most runs they've had this season on Monday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of the Gregori Jaguars by a score of 9-8. If the Thunder were looking for revenge after losing 4-3 to the Jaguars when the teams met back in March of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Ethan Kendrick and Ethan Quintana stepped up to the plate in a big way. Kendrick went 1-for-4 with one home run and four RBI, while Quintana scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Those four RBI gave Kendrick a new career-high. Gatlyn Leard was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Buhach Colony has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5-1 record this season. The victory (which was Gregori's third in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Buhach Colony wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 7-5 loss against Ceres on the 12th. As for Gregori, they have also already played their next game, an 11-3 win against Kimball on the 11th.
