Volleyball Recap: Poston Butte Comes Up Short

Poston Butte was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the ALA - Queen Creek Patriots, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on April 3rd.

Poston Butte's loss dropped their record down to 2-16. As for ALA - Queen Creek, they have been performing well recently as they've won 20 of their last 24 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 30-7 record this season.

Poston Butte will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Thunderbird at 4:30 p.m. As for ALA - Queen Creek, they are taking a road trip to take on Crismon at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
