Baseball Recap: Kimball Takes a Loss

Kimball was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 14-2 to the Lincoln Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, with their most recent loss being a 12-1 defeat last Wednesday.

Kimball saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dawson Pelech, who went 1-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Kimball's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Lincoln, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Kimball will take on rival St. Mary's at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Lincoln is set to challenge their familiar foe West at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
