Volleyball Recap: Union City Indians vs. Winchester Community Golden Falcons        
        
		
             Union City was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Saturday as the team picked up their 18th straight  defeat  dating back to last season. They lost  3-0 to the Winchester Community Golden Falcons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Indians of the  3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  on September 3rd.
 Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-10,  25-7.
 Union City's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Shelby Arnold, who  had seven  digs, three  kills,  and three  kills. The team also got some help courtesy of  Samantha Jones, who  had five  digs and a  kill.
 Union City's loss dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Winchester Community, the  win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 17-5.
 Union City is taking a road trip to  take on Bradford  at 5:30  p.m.  on Monday. As for Winchester Community, they will welcome Cambridge City Lincoln  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
