Softball Recap: Woodside Wildcats vs. Palma Chieftains
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Woodside walked away with it. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Palma Chieftains 4-3. That's two games straight that the Wildcats have won by just one run.
Hannah Walker spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on eight hits and racked up six Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Victoria Torsh was excellent, going 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Lacey Barstad, who went 2-for-3 with two runs.
