Football Game Preview: Beauregard Hornets vs. Northside Rams + Official Tickets

The Beauregard Hornets will square off against the Northside Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Beauregard is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Russell County on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Hornets were outmatched by the Warriors and fell 36-8. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama football rankings (they are ranked 125th, while the Warriors are ranked 35th).

Beauregard might have lost, but man, Tae Foreman was a machine: he rushed for 121 yards and one touchdown. Foreman's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 121 rushing yards.

Meanwhile, Northside put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed past American Christian Academy to the tune of 45-14. Fans of the Rams have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Beauregard dropped their record down to 3-7 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Northside, their victory bumped their record up to 10-0.
