Person's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Eastern Alamance Eagles , sneaking past 3-2. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Rockets as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Person took Eastern Alamance into a fifth set where they got it done with a eight-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-21, 25-20, 21-25, 15-7.
Logan Hurdle had a dynamite game for Person, getting 21 digs.
Person was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Eastern Alamance only served seven.

Person's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Eastern Alamance, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-6.
Person will face off against Western Alamance at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. Person is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home. As for Eastern Alamance, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat vs. Bartlett Yancey on the 11th.
