Basketball Recap: Player #5's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Ada over Kingston

Ada lost against Kingston back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The contest between the Cougars and the Redskins didn't end well, with the Cougars falling 38-22.

Ada's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Player #5, who went 6-for-7 on her way to 14 points along with five boards and three steals. Player #4 was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Ada's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Kingston, the win was the eighth in a row (dating back to last season) for them, bringing their record up to 2-0.

Coming up, Ada will face off against Tecumseh at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kingston, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Madill at 6:00 p.m. on the 16th.
