Savannah entered their tilt with Lawson on Monday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They had just enough and edged the Lawson Cardinals out 51-49. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Savages have posted since November 27, 2023.

Savannah pushed their record up to 10-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Lawson, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 11-4 record.
