Basketball Recap: Manual Piles Up the Points Against DSST: College View

On Friday, the Manual Thunderbolts took their match with ease, bagging a 59-24 win over the DSST: College View Wolves. The Thunderbolts have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 34 points or more this season.

Leading Manual to victory were Dayjah Fox and Jaci Collins-Falcon. Fox dropped a double-double on 20 points and 12 boards, while Collins-Falcon went 7 for 15 on her way to 17 points and five assists. Fox has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more blocks the last 14 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Caylei Walker, who went 5 of 10 en route to 10 points and three steals.

Manual pushed their record up to 11-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.7 points per game. As for DSST: College View, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-8.

DSST: Montview will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something DSST: College View surely won't give up without a fight.
