South Newton and North White are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2016, but likely not for long. The Rebels will be playing in front of their home fans against the Vikings at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

South Newton took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. Everything went their way against Frontier as they made off with a 15-4 victory.

Briley Iseminger made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out six batters over five innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off eight hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 14 consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. The team relied heavily on Kaylyn Applegate, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Morgan Carter, who went 2-for-3 with two triples, two stolen bases, and two runs.

South Newton's victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for North White, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-10.
