Basketball Game Preview: Orange Lions vs. Edgewood Warriors

The Orange Lions will challenge the Edgewood Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Orange is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.3 points per game this season.

Last Friday, Orange earned a 64-57 win over Beachwood. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

It was another big night for Alex McCulloch, who went 10-for-21 on his way to 28 points and eight rebounds. The contest was his fourth in a row with at least 16 points. Luke Schmotzer was another key player, putting up ten points along with eight boards and five assists.

Meanwhile, Edgewood was able to grind out a solid victory over Berkshire on Tuesday, taking the game 52-42.

Orange's win bumped their record up to 10-12. As for Edgewood, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-14.

Orange came up short against Edgewood when the teams last played back in December of 2022, falling 64-56. Can Orange avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
