Soccer Recap: White Station Comes Up Short

The matchup between White Station and Bartlett on Tuesday hardly resembled the 1-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Spartans lost 9-0 to the Panthers. White Station were not able to make up for their defeat to Bartlett from their previous meeting back in August of 2018.

White Station's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-5-1. As for Bartlett, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-3-3 record this season.

White Station and Bartlett could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings. The Spartans will challenge Arlington at 6:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (115 vs. 33). Meanwhile, Bartlett (ranked 45th) will meet Collierville (ranked fourth) at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
