Volleyball Recap: EF Academy Comes Up Short

EF Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Mayfield Cubs. The Hawks were not able to make up for their loss to the Cubs from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-5, 25-11.

EF Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Mayfield, their win bumped their record up to 14-7.

Coming up, EF Academy will challenge Southwestern Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mayfield, they are taking a road trip to challenge Polytechnic at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
